Family Medicine Opening in Martinsville, VA – Carilion Clinic
Carilion Clinic has an opportunity available for a Family or Internal Medicine physician to join its busy and thriving outpatient group practice of 9 physicians and several ACPs in Martinsville, Virginia. Our 28,000 square foot office building offers onsite dexa scanning, digital imaging and a sophisticated lab in addition to rotated sub-specialty services to include cardiology, orthopaedics, and neurosurgery. This is an outpatient practice opportunity with admissions covered by the hospitalist group at the local community-owned hospital. The practice physicians provide call from home for practice patients, which is very light, and is shared equally within the group, currently 1:10. Nursing home work is available and optional. Each physician enjoys one half-day off each week with a 4 1/2 day work week.

Smith Mountain Lake and Philpott Lake offer some of the state's best bass fishing along with the Smith River. Excellent school systems and some of the area's most affordable housing. Carilion Clinic offers a competitive salary with incentive tied to productivity and quality criteria. Salary range is $220,000-$320,000 annually. The posted salary range may not reflect the full value of the total compensation package. You are eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary. Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary. In addition, comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.
